Simply stated, these cases are designed to be worn on your belt (but dont think for a second that you can't use them about anywhere)

Simple belt clips were considered (for about 2 seconds), but the stitched-on leather covering wears out exposing the metal clip, and they can pop off of your belt. We looked at plastic belt clips, but they can be so bulky and have proven to break, especially when cold.

This superior design incorporates a thick leather belt loop with a heavy duty snap to hold it closed. The large size loop will fit over even the widest of belts. Hanging a bit below your belt allows the case to move when you sit down. You will also find it will also fit around other stuff too!

The flap is held shut with a 1" velcro strip that spans all the way across the case. Not just a secure closure, the velcro acts as a cushion to help protect your iPhone. There is an integrated finger relief to help you open it and with the iPhone in the closed case you can access your headphone minijack and both of the speakers are exposed.

The inside is lined with a soft Top Grain leather. I have found that many of the cases on the market today have suede linings. It looks nice when they are new, but over time, they absorb oils from the surface of your phone and can never be effectively cleaned. This Top Grain lining can be cleaned with an alcohol based lens cleaner or similar product.
